About these terms The website is informational Readiness indicator Services & SOW No warranty Intellectual property Acceptable use Liability Governing terms Changes ContactThese terms govern your use of the NextGen Security website at nextgensec.io and the information it provides. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. Any paid work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, described below.
01About these terms
"NextGen Security", "we", and "us" refer to the provider operating this website. "You" means anyone using the site. These website terms are intentionally concise; they sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data you submit.
02The website is informational
The content on this site — including service descriptions, framework references, and the free readiness scan — is provided for general information to help you understand your security posture and our services. It is not tailored advice for your specific situation and should not be relied on as your only basis for a decision.
03Readiness indicator — not certification or legal advice
The free readiness scan and any report it produces are a readiness indicator only. They are based on the self-assessment answers you provide and are intended to highlight likely gaps and sensible next steps. Specifically, they:
- do not constitute a certification, accreditation, or audit against any standard (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or NIS2);
- do not constitute a formal security assessment, penetration test, or assurance of any kind;
- do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.
Formal certification can only be granted by an accredited body, and legal advice can only come from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
04Services are scoped per written proposal
Our paid services — AI Guardrails, Compliance & Data Protection, Security Monitoring & Alerting, and Post-Quantum Readiness — are delivered as defined engagements. The specific scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, responsibilities, and terms for any engagement are set out in a written proposal or Statement of Work (SOW) and master services agreement that we and the client both accept. Where those engagement documents and this website differ, the engagement documents govern the paid work. Pricing shown on the site is indicative and confirmed in your proposal.
05No warranty on website content
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose, and we may change or update it at any time. Security is never absolute; nothing on this site is a guarantee against compromise. Warranties relating to paid work, if any, are stated in the engagement contract.
06Intellectual property
The content, branding, design, and materials on this site are owned by NextGen Security or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share the pages for your own evaluation, but you may not copy, republish, or reuse the content commercially without our written permission.
07Acceptable use
Please use the site lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to disrupt or attack the site, submit false or malicious form data, abuse the contact or scan forms, or use the site to infringe anyone's rights.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you make based solely on the informational content of this website or the free readiness indicator. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Liability arising from any paid engagement is governed by that engagement's contract.
09Governing terms
The governing law and dispute-resolution approach for any paid engagement are specified in the engagement contract (SOW / master services agreement) agreed with each client, rather than fixed by this website. If you would like to know the terms that would apply to a proposed engagement, ask us before you sign.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted here, with the "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
